Glen Helen Gorge is an absolute must for any red centre traveler. With so many places to stop on the West MacDonnell Ranges, Glen Helen is worth the distance. With temperatures hitting 43 degrees for me this day on a picture perfect blue sky day, I was relieved to enjoy a dip in this iconic swimming hole in the Australian outback. I had the place all to myself (no one else was stupid enough to go in the middle of Summer) but this made it even more surreal and enjoyable for me, an experience I'll never forget. The scenery is breathtaking, the colours are incredible, surrounded by the red rock cliffs, the wildlife buzzing (do we refer to flies as wildlife?) and the grass and trees glowing in green. All of our prints ship directly from our studio partner in Mermaid Beach on the Gold Coast, Queensland Australia. Framed prints are generally ready for dispatch within 2-3 weeks and allow additional time for shipping depending on your location. Unframed prints are ready within 7 days. Shipping times to most major Australian metropolitan cities is less than one week. Allow up to 1-2 weeks more for regional and remote locations.
