ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Shane and Explore By More is my little corner of the internet to share some of my photos from traveling around Australia and the world. I've been dabbling in photography since the young years of my life from taking pictures of the surf, to working as a sports photographer through to running a creative and marketing agency. I’ve always enjoyed a sense of being a creator. I started EBM way back in 2019 at a point when I was entering my weekend adventure era, ever keen to make the most of each weekend and escape the stresses of the 9-5 corporate work life.
I enjoy taking these photos and don’t take it too seriously. Sometimes I won’t even pick up a camera on a trip if I’m just not feeling it. I like not having pressure to create something but also love to share some of the awesome things and places I get to see wherever I go.

WHERE THE NAME STARTED
The Explore By More name is based on a play of words for 4x4 (four by four, aka four wheel driving). Synonymous with adventures, exploring, doing more, seeing more and achieving more. It all started as an Instagram account to share some of my favourite pictures and memories from my adventures.
The two palms crossing in our logo are a symbol for the x/ by in the Explore By More name. It represents the crossover for my passion of the ocean, the bush, the outback and Australia in general. A symbol for play and adventure, fun and curiosity. Focused on showing there's so much more to life and sharing the excitement around doing more, being more and seeing more throughout Australia and beyond.
HOW I GET ABOUT
My trusty steed right now is a Toyota Hilux N80 edition. It has honestly been one of the best and most reliable touring vehicles ever. Nothing is over or underdone, with reliability, strength, simplicity and a quick setup and packup time at the core of all my choices.
