HOW IT STARTED
The Explore By More name came about as a play on words for 4x4. A symbol for play and adventure, fun and curiosity. Focused on showing there's so much more to life and sharing the excitement around doing more, being more and seeing more throughout Australia and beyond. The Explore By More wall art prints cover Australia's unique and remote landscapes and destinations of personal exploration. They represent the landscape and what I've seen through my eyes and hope that you too enjoy these pictures and fine art photography prints. ABOUT PHOTOGRAPHER
Hi, I'm Shane, the main photographer here at Explore By More. I've been involved with photography one way or another since the younger years of my life. From taking random photos around my local area as a kid to working as a corporate, sports and event photographer, through to a corporate career in marketing and brand consultancy for international institutions, my drive for creativity and capturing images through the way I see things has always followed me. As my desire for traveling Australia and four-wheel driving grew, so did the idea to setup Explore By More as an Instagram account to share photos I liked along my travels. Through getting more comfortable with posting images, traveling to new places and wanting to share what I was seeing and taking on bigger trips as new friends came along, Explore By More has transpired to become a new home people sought to have the same Australian wall art prints displayed in their homes or office. Explore By More now represents some of my favourite images I've captured from around Australia. I look forward to being able to share more and use this as a platform to celebrate this beautiful country we live in as I continue to see not only Australia but around the world.
GEAR I USE
Finding the right gear to get you there is one of, if not the most crucial element of capturing images throughout some of the most remote parts of Australia. I am consistently asked about the specs, upgrades and modifications I have made to my N80 Toyota Hilux and will be sharing here in the short future. Along with covering the photography equipment I use, how I shoot, my settings and gradings, I'll be sharing much more shortly through my email newsletter which you can (and should) subscribe to below).
